Bharatanatya arangetram of Srisamvruta

The Bharatanatya arangetram of Srisamvruta Sridhar a disciple of Guru

Meenakshi Chittaranjan was held at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in

Mylapore recently.

The girl donated the funds received as entry fee and other donations to

War Widows Welfare Association, a registered nonprofit organization.

Adyar was the Chief Guest and Dr. Sree Kumar Menon, IRS, former

Director General of Customs, Indirect Taxes & Narcotics, the guest of

honor praised Srisamvruta for her generous contribution and said she

had set an example to other students in patriotism.

K N Ramaswamy director of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan also graced the

event. Rani Rajarathinam, Treasurer of the Association received the

donations on behalf of War Widows Welfare Association.

Srisamvruta Sridhar is the daughter of Dr. Sridhar and Dr Sajitha and

granddaughter of N. Krishnamurthy, retired Indian Navy.
