Brahma Gana Sabha festival

The December Art Festival 2023 of Brahma Gana Sabha was

inaugurated at P S Higher Secondary School TAG

Dakshinamurthy auditorium in Mylapore last week by MM

Murugappan of Murugappa Group. Dr Nalli Kuppuswamy

Chetty presided over the function.

Carnatic vocalist Vijay Siva was conferred Gaana Padmam title,

Guruvayur Durai with Vaadhya Brahmam, Dr Srinidhi

Chidambaram with Naatya Padhmam and K P Arivanandam

with Naataka Padmam titles. Mridangam maestro

Umayalpuram Sivaraman offered his felicitation to the

awardees.

S Ravichandran and N Balasubramanian, general secretaries

attended the event. The award function was followed by a

violin recital by Lalgudi GJR Krishnan and Vijayalakshmi.
