Centenary celebrations of RK Math Dispensary March 22

The centenary celebrations of Sri Ramakrishna Math Charitable Dispensary and the silver jubilee of the Universal Temple of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna will be celebrated in a grand manner at the Math premises in Ramakrishna Math Road in Mylapore on March 22 and 23.

Most Revered Swami Gautamananda ji Maharaj, President of Sri Ramakrishna Math and Mission World Wide, Belur Math, Kolkata, will be the chief guest on the occasion.

According to Swami Satayajnananda, Adhyaksha of Sri Ramakrishna Math, Mylapore, the centenary celebrations will commence at 4 PM at the Dispensary premises

Ma Subramaniam, Tamil Nadu Health Minister as chief guest and inaugurate the new Vivekananda Pharmacy. Most Revered Swami Gautamananda ji Maharaj will inaugurate the newly renovated Sarada Dental Block.

Public meeting commence at 430 PM with Vedic chanting and lighting of traditional lamp. Swami Satayajnananda, Adhyaksha of Sri Ramakrishna Math, Mylapore Chennai will render the welcome address.

There will be a video presentation of 100 years of selfless service to the community. Swami Gautamananda ji Maharaj will release a souvenir followed by a special address by Ma Subramaniam.

There will be special address by Swami Jnanavratanandaji Maharaj, trustee of Sri Ramakrishna Math in Belur Math, Swami Atmapriyanandaji Maharaj, Pro Chancellor of Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, Belur, Nalli Kuppuswamy Chetty, Dr Uma Shekher, Vice Chancellor of Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research followed by address by doctors and volunteers.

At 6 PM there will be a Benediction by Swami Gautamananda ji Maharaj followed by Aratrikam in the temple. There will be a Hindustani music concert by Dr Dattatreya Velenkar, an accomplished Hindustani classical performer, teacher and academician in Bangalore. Swami Gunasagarananda ji will render vote of thanks.

On March 23 the silver jubilee celebrations of the Universal temple of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna will be celebrated with temple pradakshina at 6 30 AM, special puja and Chandi homa at 7 30 AM, special Aarthi at 11 45 AM followed by annadhanam at noon.

At 430 PM there will be a musical concert by Trichur Brothers, renowned Carnatic musicians at Swami Vivekananda Centenary auditorium followed by Aratrikam at 6 30 PM.

The public meeting will commence at 7 PM with an opening song by Swami Sankaratmananda ji and welcome address by Swami Satyajnanananda Ji. There will be a talk by Swami Jnanavratanandaji Maharaj, trustee of Sri Ramakrishna Math Belur Math and Swami Atmapriyanandaji Maharaj. There will be a Benediction by Swami Gautamananda ji Maharaj. Swami Raghunayakanda ji, manager of Sri Ramakrishna Math Mylapore will propose a vote of thanks.

On March 19 there will be Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam at 9 30 AM followed by bhajans by various school students. There will be an Akanda Nama japam at 5 AM on the following day. On March 21, there will be Devaram and Thiruvachakam recital at 930 AM followed by kuthu vilakku puja by 108 devotees at 4 30 PM
