Music, bhajan classes by Pooja

Mandaveli-resident and Carnatic vocalist R Pooja has started music and

bhajan classes under the name of Dhwani on Vijayadasami Day.

Pooja is teaching Carnatic music for beginners and intermediate level

students, Nottuswarams, Sai and Meera Bhajans, Tamil patriotic songs,

all slokas, stotrams such as Ganesa Pancharathnam, Subrahmanya

bhujangam, Shri Guru Stotram, Sharada stotram, Lingashtakam,

Krishnashtakam, Mahalakshmi ashtakam, Mahishasura Mardhini

stotram, Bhagawad Gita classes for competitions and more.

A computer technologist and a former employee of Wipro InfoTech,

Pooja learned Carnatic music from Revathy Subramanian and currently

learning from Sarada Janakiraman, a former Professor of Music at

Government Music College in Greenways Road. She is also a Karaoke

singer and her debut performance with orchestra was held in the Music
