P S Matric HS School’s Sports Day

The 32 nd annual Sports Day was celebrated by PS Matric Higher

Secondary School in Mylapore with Dr CD Vivekanandan State

Vice President Tamil Nadu Bharat Scouts and Guides as chief

guest

He was welcomed on arrival by the school band. The Principal

Bhooma, Correspondent Dr T.K Varadarajan, teachers, parents

and students were gathered to witness the grand event.

The sports event was opened with a glorious and well

synchronized March Past with a contingent of four houses by

the students followed by the Torch bearing Ceremony and

declaration of the Sports Meet open by Vivekanandan.

Various programs such as aerobic dance, Silambam, karate

were also presented. The Physical Education teachers gave an

outline of school sports activities and students’ achievements.

The chief guest addressed the gathering and medals and

trophies were distributed to the achievers.
