Palm leaf workshop by COWE

COWE TN Chapter had organized a workshop on palm products at Mangayarkarasi Magalir Mandram in Adyar. VRG Raji President COWE – TN Chapter welcomed the gathering

About 20 participants attended the training for learning how to make products out of palm leaves

Archana IPS (retired) was the chief guest. Zaheera, Padma Venkataraman, president of WIA) were the guests of honor at the inauguration

The workshop will be conducted for three days in a month and another three days also for the consecutive two months and certificates will be issued to the attendees

Azarudden's trainer explained the growth levels of palm leaves. VRG Raji had organized this work shop exclusively for differently abled persons as well as mothers of differently abled persons

Lalithambigai President of SFRAWD took the responsibility of gathering participants for workshop. Rani Jerome, secretary COWE -TN was present along with Nimmi Chellappa Secretary

This workshop will train 20 women entrepreneurs who will sell these products from natural resources. COWE – TN will also help them for marketing the products
