PS Higher Sec School celebrates R-Day

P S Higher secondary school celebrated 75th Republic day of

India with patriotic fervor and pride on Jan 26.

The celebration began with unfurling the national flag by the

Chief Guest, Group captain Dr. R. Venkataraman accompanied

by C. V. Krishnan, School secretary and Dr. R. Kala, the

Principal. 

The flag hoisting was followed by the National Anthem to pay

tribute to our country and was followed by several cultural

events like Silambaattam, surulattam, gymnastics etc to make

the celebration more colorful and to showcase rich and

traditional talents.

The chief guest distributed several awards and certificates to

NCC and other wings cadets. He also honored the prize winners

who won in several science expos. The ceremony concluded

with playing of bands and musical instruments
