Ramaswami is President of Photographic Society
G N Ramaswami, a leading chartered accountant of Mylapore has been elected President of
Photographic Society of Madras (PMS) the second oldest photographic club in the world, established
in the year 1857.
G N Ramaswami is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of post-qualification experience. A
Commerce graduate and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
Ramaswami is also an Information System Auditor (DISA ICAI)) and holds post qualification
certificates of ICAI in International Financial Reporting S standards (IFRS) and International Taxation.
He is also a Registered Insolvency Professional and a Registered Valuer for Securities or Financial
Assets.
He is empanelled as an Independent Director in the databank maintained by IICA. He is also the
Secretary of Society of Auditors, one of the oldest accounting bodies in India.
He is as passionate about photography and travel, as he is about his profession. He loves to explore
photographic opportunities in categories like Wildlife, Ancient Architecture, and Landscape and
travel.
As much as the poetic nature, man-made wonders in ancient architecture too inspires him. He is
always on the wait for the next best opportunity to capture in his camera a beautiful piece of history
or an enchanting moment frozen in time.
