Russian Language Day celebrated

The Russian Language Institute of Peoples Friendship University of

Russia (RUDN University) and Russian Centre of Science and

Culture in Chennai held a cultural and educational event - Days of

Russian Language in Chennai - in Greater Chennai Corporation

Auditorium for 150 students from Chennai Corporation Government

Schools.

During the event professors of RUDN University Dr. Kozlovskaya

Ekaterina, Associate Professor of the Institute of the Russian Language,

the Peoples Friendship University of Russia and Dr. Alimova Maria,

Senior Lecturer, the Institute of the Russian Language, the Peoples

Friendship University of Russia conducted an Interactive open class of

Russian language for the students of University of Madras and affiliated

colleges

They explained about the Russian Government Scholarship Program

and shared the presentation about Russia Russian education, science

and culture. The event was inaugurated by Mayor of Chennai R. Priya

and Chairman Standing Committee (Education) D. Viswanathan, Deputy

Commissioner (Education) Sharanya Ari and Vice consul and Director of

Russian Centre of Science and Culture Alexander Dodonov
