Shishu Utsav at Chettinad Vidyalaya

The 26th Shishu Utsav was held last week as an inter-school

Competition exclusively for Kindergartens hosted annually by

Kumara Rani's Chettinad Vidyalaya

The correspondent and secretary of Kumara Rani's Chettinad

Vidyalaya, Dr Meena Muthiah presided over the function

Principal Dr. S. Amudha Lakshmi, Headmistress P.

Rajalakshmi and Assistant Headmistress Gayathri. N gave away

the prizes to the winners

The mega event drew enthusiastic participants from 40

renowned schools bringing in 596 participants. Every child

received a gift and a certificate of appreciation. Trophies were

awarded to participants who secured first second and third

places. The winning school V Kids-T.S Krishna Nagar was

awarded the winner’s trophy, while V Kids West received the

runner up trophy

The talents of the kindergarteners were showcased in both

Individual and group events. Competitions like Dress- up show,

Vibrant images and Clay modeling were conducted on an

Individual basis. The happy feet dance competition for LKG

children and the fantasy world themed group dance for UKG

children were group events. The judges applauded the

enthusiastic and confident performance of the little stars.
